Miriam's Crafting Supplies Metal Challenge

I love a challenge and when I have an idea for the challenge it just makes it even more exciting!!! Miriam's Crafting Supplies is having their first Blog Link Up Challenge which is themed metal.

I already have a collection of all her wonderful Flat Backed Pearls and Metal pieces and I had to go above and beyond and create something unique and easy to do!!! Here is what I made!!!

Now here is how I made it!!!!

You will need 9 of Miriams's Silver tone ornate embellishments. You will also need your choice of ink that will stain metal. I'm using Rangers Vintaj Patinas in the Victorian Gable Collection. You are going to ink the metal pieces using a simple stamping and pouncing technique.

Next what you are going to do is cut 8 of them in half as you see below and bend the edges to help for the rose petal.

Now you going to take the ninth metal piece and roll it to make the center of the rose using your pliers ( which Miraim has some amazing tools at amazing prices!!!  You can see my set in the background of this photo.

Now you going to take you bent petals and hot glue them around the center to form the rose. I would use HOT GLUE it is a lot easier to make this!!!

Now you have a metal rose for any project you would like to use it on. As you can see from this photo, I flipped the petals to face a different direction. One way in the center and the other way to form the petals.

Here are some detailed photos of the tag!!

These metal corners also come from Miriam's Crafting Supplies!!! As you can see you can piece together the metal pieces and make you own designs!!

Be sure to check out Miriam's Blog and place an order so that you can begin creating amazing pieces like this!!! Visit here to view her page and read more about the challenge----> Miriam's Craft Challenge

NOTE: The background of the tag is a stamped image using one of Justrite's NEW Stamps Called " French Rose Background Stamp"     If you cant find this stamp or any other stamps from Justrite, I can order them for you!!! I will be carry these stamps in my store!!!!

Enjoy this awesome tutorial and I thank you all for your support!!!!
